My devotion to serve was nurtured in me as child, observing selfless servants throughout my life. Whether it was sharing goats milk to help me survive whooping cough when I was a baby or helping my mom with basic home repairs, I learned early on how to appreciate selfless service.
After getting my family settled here in Oregon in 2008, I was grateful to be an appointed member-at-large in the Washington County Public Safety Coordinating Council from 2010 to 2014 where I experienced first hand the dedication that our leaders in public safety have for our community. From 2012 to 2017, as a member of the Board of Directors in the West Tuality Habitat for Humanity in Forest Grove, I was surrounded with selfless servants whether it was building homes, organizing our Restore or coaching families through the partnership process. Since 2016, I have been serving on the City of Cornelius Planning Commission, deliberating on ways to grow smartly and safeguard a bright future for our neighborhoods and city center.
