I have been serving the public for most of my adult life beginning with the military from 1997 to 2005. In 2008, my wife and I moved our family to Oregon from Arizona. Since then I have been involved in community service professionally and as a volunteer, thanks to the support from my wife Graciela, and children Jazmin, Jose and Sophia. We have lived in Cornelius since 2013.
My vision is that residents in Cornelius are inspired to be active in the community. Here our residents experience for themselves how their input directly shapes livability and policy that makes their lives better. Families welcome diversity in our neighborhoods. Businesses embracing diversity realize returns above their expectations. Cornelius is a model community where hard work, tolerance and inclusiveness truly makes us Oregon’s Family Town.
